Innovation Station With V For Victory
This very special Family Retreat Weekend is possible due to an amazing partnership with V For Victory. Campers and their families will have an opportunity to play together, meet new friends, and be a part of something magical. As always, all of our Family Retreat Weekends and Summer Sessions are provided at zero cost to the families.
V For Victory helps to support families who are battling cancer. To learn more about this weekend, please fill out the form below.
Family Weekend Retreats: Sickle Cell
Come to Camp and experience the spirit and magic of Boggy Creek. Parents and guardians can relax and find needed support among other families dealing with similar challenges. Siblings can participate in all of the fun, hosted by our volunteers and staff.
During Family Retreat Weekends, we will offer campers and their families time to connect away from home and participate in some favorite Boggy Creek traditions, including cheering, singing, dancing, trying new things, and sharing kindness. Families will be able to choose their own adventure by visiting activities including boating and fishing, archery, woodshop, miniature golf, and relaxing on the dining hall porch.
Families are paired up with volunteer pals that act as hosts for the fun—greeting families upon arrival, showing them around Camp, hosting families at activity areas, playing with the children, helping the families with any needs that arise, and generally helping families to have the best experience possible.
Let’s get the process started. Next time you are at your child’s specialist, please have them fill out the specific medical diagnosis forms below and return them with a copy of the most recent progress notes via fax to 352-483-2959 or via email to camperrecruiter@campboggycreek.org. Please note: medical records are good for one year. You can find the specific medical form you need here. We currently accept children ages 5-17 for our Weekend Retreats.
